Day 218: ...Pacific Baza
I think today has hit its peak. There is a lot of stuff going on in the world that, professionally, just makes me shake my head and wonder why. Does teaching and researching ways to 'stop the war' (to choose a three word slogan I adopt) ever achieve much? Perhaps, a little, somewhere, sometimes...
Fly like a baza... |
And then, the noisy miners signal the arrival of a territorial visitor. Today, not one but TWO Pacific Bazas flew in and around the trees this morning offering a brief respite from that which must be done.
Going... |
Away... |
Dance of the baza... |
Curious... |
If at first you succeed...go! |
Away, again... |
And the lori sees all... |
Birds in flight, with the dial switched to M (for learning purposes you understand, dear reader) remain a challenge...f stops, shutter speeds, movement, etc and so forth. But I'm prepared to keep working on it.
