Day 60, 1 Mar 2017: A spring day...

Day 60: ...on reflection

One could get used to this non-teaching time. Although it is already halfway through and there is still much on the to-do list, the luxury of being timetable-free (more or less) is one not to be taken for granted.

For example, I was able to take the long way round to the bus stop today, strolling through the neighbourhood, spotting the various blooms making their way out into the early spring time. Yes, we've had a few blooms around for a few weeks now but there is something about 1 March that makes it all seem official. Or something.

There were even some moments at the port worth lingering over...reflecting as it were.

Front and back

Side on too

Budding

The pink and the green

But mostly pink

Still waters reflect

A flock of birds is much better than a burst of balloons

Two small writing projects completed today; just a lifetime's writing left to do between now and then. When? Perhaps when the next budding branches come into bloom.
