With a 32 degrees maximum predicted for the day and a few things to do work-wise, with open day preparations (tomorrow) and conference preparations (next week), going into the office seemed like the right thing to do.
And I did.
Greeted in the first instance by a flock of seabirds...these ones usually fly about in twos and threes but just occasionally group together for a bigger show. As did the barge today, sailing close to the seawall (actually avoiding a wide-turning ship) making waves like I've not seen in a while (now if only the waves at Kamakura could get that big...).
A flock of birds |
Flying high |
Making waves |
The biggest waves |
And later in the day, another flock, this time runners running (in this weather...???).
A shrug of the shoulders and back to work. ...the things we see out there on a Saturday.
Leader... |
...of the back... |
...in the middle... |
...bringing up the rear |
And then back on the train to head back home, all prepared for tomorrow. More or less.
