Somewhat related to the previous post but one week on, we remain in a situation, not quite lockdown but a request to remain indoors if you can; don't go out unless you have to...
So on a sunny day, in contrast to last week's snow, it was a case of what can I see from the balcony?
Thus armed with a 300mm zoom lens, I watched the last of the cherry blossom petals begin their downward path in the breeze, another season coming to a fluttering end.
I am already thinking about how we will look back on these first few months of 2020, but that is for another day (or the other blog).

Today, amidst a 'lockdown' for personal and public safety, an unusual combination of circumstances saw us watching snow fall...on cherry blossoms.
