Balcony with a view

...in these times

Somewhat related to the previous post but one week on, we remain in a situation, not quite lockdown but a request to remain indoors if you can; don't go out unless you have to...

So on a sunny day, in contrast to last week's snow, it was a case of what can I see from the balcony?

Thus armed with a 300mm zoom lens, I watched the last of the cherry blossom petals begin their downward path in the breeze, another season coming to a fluttering end.

I am already thinking about how we will look back on these first few months of 2020, but that is for another day (or the other blog).

a rarity

...in more ways than one

Today, amidst a 'lockdown' for personal and public safety, an unusual combination of circumstances saw us watching snow fall...on cherry blossoms.

Just a few examples, what an interesting day.

And now that I'm back on the blog, after a bit of a hiatus, who knows, there might be more.
