...although it is supposed to be over... (31/365, 31 Jan 2022)
Nothing like finishing a semester, only to have to front up for another class. So it was today. After yesterday's on campus effort for exam supervision, today was a row of meetings, from 10:00am through until the evening then to turn my attention to tomorrow's class.
So today is really just a bit of a view from the office window (but let's face it, it is pretty good). Today's focus (bad photographer's pun, yes) was the ongoing demolition of our once-upon-a-time faux French village. It is down below my office, it once had a church (with spire), a French village with shops and restaurants which, in my early days here I visited thinking, 'how twee'.
What I learned very quickly, however, was that it was actually a wedding venue, all-in-one--from shops for bridal wear to florists, gifts, the 'church'. How interesting.
Anyhow, the contract expired (no record on the weddings therein), and they began demolition a couple of months ago. It's almost gone, to be replaced by a tv studio, apparently.

A couple of other views during the day, sometimes on a clear day, it feels like I can almost see home...
Today had the Canon EOS M5, on hand with the usual 18-150mm lens. (And yes, kind of a day late, but it is here.)
