Monday, 1 September. New week, New season. Yes, there are those who will argue that spring doesn't actually start for a few weeks yet (around 21 Sept) but the weather was such a contrast to yesterday's last day of winter, that I was happy to call it spring.
With a busy week of public engagement coming up, I mostly worked at home (except a for quick duck out to tai chi and then later again for rehearsal).
It was also, officially my first day of long service leave, much writing coming up. Once this week is out of the way.
The resident gum trees have no problem deciding the seasons. They've been warming up the last few days and the blooms are coming forward. And don't the lorikeets like that.
