Another day out with the orchestra today...there seems to be a run of concerts of late. This time, we were invited to play out at a Stanthorpe winery, Channon Wines. In a big shed. On a large property.
We were well-looked after. There was a lovely audience. Yes, there was an early start (8.30am departure) and a late finish (8.00pm return) on a big bus and in between a nice lunch, a good concert, a little wine-tasting (just a leetle)...and about 30 minutes between rehearsal/sound check and actual concert.
