Day 337 2015: Let a thousand flowers bloom...

Day 337: ...a new phase begins

So yes, now with the actual marking done and just the technical details of an overly-technical approach to uploading marks and grades to a database (which really wastes the time of far too many people to outweigh the 'benefits', so-called), one already feels a lightening of the load.

Well, a different load approaches. Packing up an office of thirteen years for a start; determining what needs to be sent to Tokyo for work and living purposes and what gets stored here (and where)...it will actually be a rather busy two or three months.

...which is why it is nice to stop and smell the roses...

Soft focus

...particularly because the rose bush out the back is about to give us its best... and after a dormant winter/spring period (sort of, the climate is not strictly seasonal here), the frangipanis are on the way back.

And I'm very grateful for that.

Now excuse me please, I must be packing.
