Day 67 2016: What you see...

Day 67: ...may not be what I see...

Today saw a little cleaning, packing and oiling of decks and in-between there were breakfasts and lunches with parliamentary friends and journalist friends. And then back home to do more things like visit the refuse transfer station (again), a term that is fun to use since we no longer have 'tips'. But there you go.

And at the end of the lunch, Susan and I took a detour through South Bank, cams at the ready.

Now, this is always an interesting activity. Occasionally, Susan's and my respective #project365/6 blogs will coincide subject-wise. And just occasionally, we will find ourselves, like today, walking in the same place, taking the 'same' pics, or do we?

As a journalist, Susan is open to talking to people she meets, I am a little less so. Today, Susan's lens was bigger than mine, so that was an added element too.

Here's some of what I saw:

Rain on the green

The silhouettes caught my eye, not just once...

...but twice

A little competition for the morsels

...which this one wasn't having a bar of...

And so departed
Snapper partner

Pop over to Susan's blog (the inspiration for mine), just in case she posted some pics from this shoot today too. And you'll see that what one person sees is not always going to be what another sees.
