One of my brothers is visiting Tokyo with friends. After a few days by the beach, they dropped by the campus today for lunch and a bit of a look around.
They went along to the Panasonic showroom which is near the university as well. Now, I walk past the showroom every day, thinking, 'one day I will go in there', as you do, when you live in a place. It usually takes a visit from friends or family to make that 'one day' into 'today'.

The showroom has a bit of an Olympic theme as well since Panasonic is a major sponsor. As is usually the case, it was all very interesting...'I should have called in sooner'...as we also tend to say.
And something else, just when all the cherry blossoms everywhere else have just abut gone, Panasonic has a few specials just blooming in the courtyard, a stark but photogenic contrast.
A staff meeting followed by a welcome dinner for new staff finished off the day. Not a bad one really.
