...a walk through the raindrops ... (104/365, 14 Apr 2022)
Today, as forecast, it rained. It rained overnight, and then eased and then started again around 3:00pm. Given yesterday's adventures, and the fact they will be the 'last' for a little while as attention turns to classes recommencing, I decided early on to work from home (the drop in temperature from yesterday's 26degC to 13degC today, might have played its part in the decision). Just one small issue, I did have to go to do some errands up near the station. The important things...something for lunch, the newspaper, things for Sunday's trip to the beach.
There was some very light rain on the way, funnily enough, not the sort of rain you'd put up an umbrella for back home, but, as I have learnt over the years, a ten minute walk even in light misty rain, can leave you 'drenched' at the end. So there it was, umbrellas at ten paces.
Not a lot along the way then, though I noted the wisteria has started to bloom...advance notice!
The flowers around the corner, that sort of remind me of ranunculus but I may be wrong, were showing off their colours once again. Sorry, couldn't resist. On a grey day, they stand out.
And a few raindrops as a bonus.
