... at the other end of the promenade... (126/365, 6 May 2022)
You might recall, earlier in the week, I went in the general direction of the campus, but turned left at the station to go to a park rather than the usual rightward direction to campus. The event of course was the Constitution Day march. On that day, on my return to the station, I noticed a rather impressive looking flower bed in the distance and thought to myself, I must come and have a look at that later this week.
That day was today. An early start with a class at 8:50am, and a Friday feeling like a Monday because of seven days of public holidays (and their imitators) and with that odd sense of timing, I left the office while there was still a little sunlight to go and explore this newish part of the promenade.
Quite thoughtfully laid out (no surprises there really) and, in fact, it was nice to just spend 40-50 minutes taking time to ... well, have a look.

The plaza-feel of this area, with its seating and open spaces, is yet another very interesting rendering of urban space. Nice detour on the way to my next stop, a certain Akabane watering hole, for just the one. Really.
Using the Canon EOS M5, 18-150mm lens today.
