Japanese weather forecasts are usually pretty accurate. Usually. We are on the edge of the annual rainy season, after which the notoriously steamy summer dayz will settle in. Yep, hot and steamy even for this Queensland-bred (mostly) blogger. The humidity, on a bad day, can make Brisbane seem mild. But that is a couple of weeks away yet.
So today was forecast to rain all day. They said so on telly, it said so on the weather app, it 'looked' like rain outside, all day. I planned my day thus...no point going too far if it is just going to rain.
Except, it didn't. The app kept pushing back forecast rain and showers all day until it settled on rain falling around 8:00pm...bit of a waste of a day really. But then I decided, I could probably do with the rest. So no harm done.
I popped out a bit later in the afternoon to buy the paper and a few other things. Really, what would we do without the convenience of the the convenience store just at the end of the street...

In then end, it didn't start raining until around 11:00pm...
