... term two underway... (172/365, 21 Jun 2022)
Term two actually started last week, but today, Tuesday, was the first Tuesday of the term noticeable for i) yesterday's little USB mishap, and ii) well, today is the first go at a mega-teaching day. It's a bad timetable, for which I am sort of responsible* but when left with nothing but bad choices, well, that's how it goes. (*responsible in as much as I signed off on this timetable as departmental chair last year, but only after allowing all other colleagues the other, preferable options, yes, even the bully)
Anyway, today's test, from now and for the next six Tuesdays: 2x100min classes online from 8:50-12:20 (220 students) and then with a 50 minute 'break', 2x100min classes, face-to-face, from 13:10 to 16:40. Turns out that about seven hours. And to be fair to the students, some of them take both those classes too.
Since there isn't enough time between classes to travel between home and the campus, that means a very early start. Very early. Lucky I'm an early riser.
We somehow got through the day, and as the evening approached, the light in the sky caught my eye, as it does sometimes, as a photographer (rank: amateur). I'm not sure I was able to capture what I saw clearly. It's been rainy, overcast, sunny and rainy again today. Somehow the last light of the day seemed to go that way.
Off home, it is another 8:50am start in the morning (I do not like this timetable at all).
Today, or this evening, shot on the Canon EOS M5, 18-150mm lens, through the office window, which needs a bit of a clean.
