Day 129: ...by any other name...
Today was a day at home to consolidate yesterday's research, write it up, continue to shape the article I hope will be published (soon). That means not venturing too far: working between the table on the back verandah and the study, as the writing mood takes one.
It is also the time in the garden when my rose bushes are gearing up for another blush of colour. The ones today, in various states of unfurling are a rich reddish-pink this time; previously, on the same bush, they've come out in a lighter shade. Each time, I look forward to seeing how the environment has affected their colouring.
And so, with no further ado, the (soon to be) Mothers Day roses, because right now, they are the prettiest things around.
