If one could have two days of contrast it must be yesterday ('the pearler') and today ('the dampener'). An all-day meeting over the other side of town and two bus trips away.
The weather forecast promised a storm by the afternoon though that didn't seem apparent this morning. By the time the bus came out of the Myer Centre though, down came the rain...quite heavily.

This pic was taken not far from yesterday's spot, just as a contrast. Yesterday was the river from inside the library; today is the river from the Victoria Bridge, crossing over that water I was looking at yesterday. As you can see, umbrellas were at a premium...can you see?
What a difference a day can make.
