Well, lunch at least. We have, over many years, grown accustomed to eating lunch at Ikebukuro before I head to the airport on the bus. It is just what we do.

Today was one of the restaurants in the hotel from where the bus departs. Sort of one of those Japanese restaurants for people who only eat at hotels I suppose but pleasant enough. Our waitress today was just so delightful and cheery, we all felt very cheery as a result.

Then off to the airport for the usual 8pm departure for home. Well Sydney, then home to Brisbane. (They can't bring on that direct Brisbane-Tokyo flight soon enough...)
