Day 44 2015: A little black and white...

Day 44: ...shades of grey, bursts of colour

Today had everything really. Started well with a car park right outside the doctor's rooms. And then...

Home again to work for a while with preparation for the semester, thinking about politics and things and waiting, waiting, waiting for the declaration of the Queensland election. Yes, it's taken a while, but you have to get these things right.

The Labor Party was declared the winner in a close run thing: 44 out of the 89 seats with the support of the Sunshine Coast Independent, Peter Wellington. It will be interesting times. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk. Done.

Later in the evening it was off to South Bank to support a new music venture, Studio 4101, a 'pop-up' performance space for emerging artists and a presentation of Stravinsky's Soldier's Tale. Excellent.

In the spare moments in between the acts, a stroll around South Bank was in order...things looked a little grey for a while...

All shades of grey, no filter

Same wheel, a little later

...and then, a burst of colour, like a new government, or something.

And a couple of snaps of the artists. Light was low, I didn't have my tripod and I was a little far from the stage but, you get the idea.

A great night really. Hardly noticed it was Friday the 13th. Tomorrow is a Buskers' World Record attempt, I just might...
