Another Sunday, another entrance exam supervision day. That means an early start (earlier than usual just in case the buses are running late because of all the now black ice covering the roads) and then spend six hours in classrooms assisting with the supervision and conduct of entrance exams for the current crop of high school students. High tension, high anticipation...
...high boredom. We are not allowed to bring anything into the rooms, can't distract ourselves with things we would normally be doing on a Sunday like, I don't know, marking, class prep, reading, the usual.
I did occasionally cast my eyes to the apartment buildings across the way and observed some movement in the curtains from time to time...

...and when it was done, it was back to the office to prepare the last Japanese politics lecture (and short test, I know they're going to enjoy that).
