Day 35/365: Ariake by nite...

...just not what you'd think

'Tis the season to be marking. Marking, and nothing but marking (aside from the occasional clarinet rehearsal, one needs some kind of life). And so it was back to the office today, Sunday, in an effort to meet the impossible deadlines set for us.

By the time I was done for the day/night, it was dark outside, save for a few lights around the place.

But as I learnt, even Ariake on a Sunday night is a little quiet. The big wheel, which keeps turning all week, looked like it was taking a break this evening, no colour, save the red warning lamps (in the event of a low-flying plane I guess...). And so it was, a few lights, not many people, just another Sunday night in town. My end of town at least.

The marking continues, however, tomorrow.
