Day 309: ...silhouettes and diamonds
Truly a sparkly day today. Some days, you look out the window, you look through the lens; you don't know what you are going to get until you've got it.
Today turned out like that. Another early start which meant getting another spectacular dose of sunlight on the water. A series of lovely autumn days at the moment, each one a carbon copy of the one before it (as I noted elsewhere, 'carbon copy' for those of an age who remember what that actually meant...at the risk of sounding like a broken record...for those of an age who remember what that actually means too).
And enough pressure applied to carbon, produces diamonds, which what a couple of the pics looked like today...

Good morning Tokyo Bay |

Wheely clear, again |

A bridge (not) too far |

Ship silhouette |

Little boat |
|
Littler tug |
Just silhouettes on a sparkly surface. Once upon a time one might have spent ages in a dark room (for those of an age who remember what that was) trying to get a similar effect. Some filters might help you get the same effect. But this was just today, pure, as it was. Almost perfect.
