The cherry blossoms are everywhere, in various states of bloom. There are whitish whites, whitish pinks, pinkish pinks and pinky pinks. They are subtle, they are bold. The shine in the light, the hide in the shadows.
As the new academic year approaches, I am going to make a conscious effort to go out in the afternoon each day to walk for ten minutes or so, and observe, via the lens, whatever I can see.
Yes, dear reader, you may well recall I have tried this before, but I really have to try this time.
Anyway, the spectacular-looking trees were across the canal today, in the distance. Perhaps I'll tackle those another day.

A bit closer to the office however, were several examples of the Oshima sakura, quite white really, but just as pretty.
Worth the walk.
