The Friday run. First to the western campus, back to the east all in the name of teaching. It is the third time this week I've made this run. Today too, in addition to the two-campus-three-classes-run, there is a meeting at 4.20pm (to set up a new round of sub-committee meetings as we head to 2020 and the Olympics year), and then after that a dinner with four visitors to the university--work but with dinner included. No complaints really. Just a long week made just that little bit longer.
Not much time for anything else though. On the run through to the office, via the shops to pick up lunch, there is a large flower arrangement in the foyer of the building...

It is seasonal and changes to highlight whatever flowers we can expect to see in bloom. This week it is hydrangeas--a sure sign of summer (and a brief rainy season). I walk through this foyer fairly often, but in terms of this Friday rush...there is just one more to do. And we are done.
