Day 165 2015: Let music be...

Day 165: ...whatever you want it to be

If e'er I were asked one of those, 'if you could do anything (within your (limited) capabilities) what would you do?'-type questions, after solving world peace, I'd probably opt for something like 'music photographer', combining two of my favourite things.

And I would opt for the classical music scene I should think...there is just so much light and energy to be captured (and lots of different instruments).

Today a few of us from the Clarinet Choir turned up to support our choirmaster in one of his ensembles, The Brisbane Wind Soloists x 2. It was in aid of a good cause and, as is often the case with these chamber ensembles, a couple or three of friends from my orchestra were also playing. So, support. And photographically, one could say many many things...

So much goes on in Brisbane every day and so much of it passes under the radar. This particular group included current and retired professional orchestral musicians, just out and about making music, because they can. A privilege to watch and listen. A lovely Sunday afternoon.
