Day 32 2016: And already a month has ticked over...

Day 32: ...February's rose, flagging frangipanis

Here we are at February. Already. Doing a daily blog does help you mark time, it must be said, but this is quick. Quicker than last year, perhaps.

I have much to do at home now of course in terms of preparations for the uplift and move on coming within the next month or so, but even so...

We've also hit peak summer weather: hot daytime temperatures, accompanied by heavy heavy humidity. I'm not complaining, it is summer after all, but it doesn't help in making the necessary preparations for the autumn.

So I didn't get much further than noticing the new rose, and wondering how that happened, in this weather.

And the frangipanis are trying, but wilting too in this weather.

We can do our best

I guess if the summer flowers are wilting in this heat then there's a lesson in that for all of us.
