The conference formally ended yesterday but as is the way with these things, if you're in town, you might as well attend an extra presentation or two. And that is what this morning is about. A colleague from a part of my university universe in a galaxy far far away, was presenting her work this morning, to a different audience, on the campus. It meant delaying my trip home for a few hours but given the subject, Japanese in Australia, it seemed worth it.

And it was. Then back on the train, the rather fast train, home for there be work to do tomorrow.
