We have a series of Fridays for this first term which means all the polsci faculty head out to our western campus to take a first year seminar, to try and get the 'new' students thinking politics early on in their studies.
We then all race back (variously) for classes in the afternoon, some of us at 1.00pm (puts up hand) others for the next class at 2.40pm (puts up other hand). It is a race from A to B, from west to east.
So far, I've made it back in time, each time. And with an eight-week term, we are at the halfway mark.

It still makes for a long day, with things to check, to catch up on and oh yes, remember to have lunch by abut 10.30pm.
