Day 139/365: Post-rehearsal...

...finally, a walk in the park

After thinking about it all week, after hoping to do it all week, finally today, after rehearsal I managed to go for a walk in a park. Just the local, but it was a walk nonetheless.

The bass clarinet case is rather large and getting it from home to the studio and back again takes all the energy. There is just no room for extra things like cam, much less time and energy to point a lens. I did, however, learn that there is a jazz festival in Ikebukuro* today and tomorrow, I guess that's tomorrow sorted then. (*I briefly felt like part of the festival, lugging a great big instrument case around...)

Into the enchanted...or spooky

A pathway

Cracked

Probably by these

Gated

Rows

Signs of summer

Florals

A bunch

The fallen

Rubbish

There's a story here

So it comes down to getting back home, putting down the bass and picking up the lens. And when it comes to taking out the cam with the specific purpose of looking for photos in a park you walk in often, it can be quite an interesting exercise..

After this, it was off to the shops to pick up dinner, at a reasonable time. I wonder if this is how the other, none-academic world, actually 'lives' as in has a life? I could kinda get used to it.
