Today is just a straight out joy of photography day. Brisbane mornings are definitely worth being up early to take in, savour, enjoy. Even when I don't have to hit the road early I still get up early. And the colour, photographically speaking, is marvellous, even from the back verandah (though not as spectacular as tweepster @shelleymlloyd's wheelie excellent shots).
As it happened, although there was a little industry during the day and a quick visit into town for a baroque concert...I managed to capture twelve hours of sky, including two planes (looking, looking).

Augurs well for a good weekend of work ahead (yep, there's always a trade-off in this job).
