Some days, even I am surprised with what turns up in the lens. Some days, like Sunday, when I head out with a plan to shoot, I have a bit of an idea of what to expect at the end of the day.
But it is not always like that. And that is why it can be handy to have the junior cam, or the fruit fone on hand to catch the unexpected.
Such was today.
While I was waiting for the bus this morning, for example, just as the bus turned the corner, the sunlight hit the car wreck in the yard, just so...

...magic. If I had to choose one pic a day, this one would be the one that captures the essence of what the project365 is all about. Totally random. Totally life as we wouldn't expect to see it.
And then the rest of the day, the lens was drawn to the light and shade that happens over the day (even when it draws to an early close when the sun goes down just after 4.00pm.

Some days, the best pics happen when you least expect them to be there. Just a moment, or three.
