Day 358 2016: Like a doona...

Day 358: ...feeling covered

It was today, I say unashamedly, a day for the clouds. They fascinated me with their light and shape all day.

For most of the day it felt like the Bay was being blanketed with a large doona, not quite tucked up around the edges. It made for a fascinating series of sky views as I kept on with the preparation required for Monday's last class before the break...

Layered effect

Take off, right turn over the Bay

Line in the sky

Rain and blue sky

A little escapee

Lighting up just some of the boats

Gathering

Bird, cranes, cloud

Sun begins to set

Clouds reflected even

End of the day at the end of the corridor

Today was a public holiday, although my uni held classes as usual. It was the Emperor's Birthday, he has just turned 83 and is seeking approval to abdicate and see out a rather eventful life quietly.

He should just hide under the doona I reckon. Today was a good day for it.
