Day 293 2016: There's always something worthwhile..

Day 293: ...in these early starts

Another teaching day, another early start. The weather is playing tricks on us again too, reverting to rather summery temperatures and humidity during the day though with just enough 'chill' in the morning to require clothing layers...it makes for a lot of guess work.

Today's lesson was the Peace Studies class. It is interesting to engage with the students, getting their opinions on different aspects of Japan's present and past, and indeed, where it might be heading. As much as one might not like the early starts (today's commute was standing for half of the 50 minute trip), there is always something in the class, in the engagement that makes me feel quite fortunate to have this opportunity.

Arriving early on campus too also presents seem fairly amazing skies at the moment too. The clouds, the light, the colour over the bridge early on for example...

It was a blue sky start

Wake with cable

Waning

And even getting home and getting ready to do it all again tomorrow, the moon made a late appearance through the fence. I might be on the wane myself sometimes, but the students keep me thinking. That's got to be a good thing.
