Day 297: ...somewhere in Tokyo
In my continuing series of getting out and about today (when it would have been so easy to just loll about on the lounge), I headed not too far from home to a park a couple of stops from Ikebukuro, one of the main junction stations. The park is 'Kyoiku no Mori Koen', amidst a bank of universities near Myogadani Station.
How do I find these parks you ask (or not)? This one was featured on a TV program last week, it looked interesting, so I went.
And as local suburban parks go, it was a local suburban park really. The pond has been drained for the cold season, the leaves are *just* starting to turn into their autumn colours.

I wandered down the road a little further where there was another park, complete with water wheel which seemed to be just for effect.

It is good to get out and about, you just never know what you might see.
