Not quite what you were expecting I guess, dear reader. But indeed, that was the end part of a very long day today. And nice that it is a round number, day 300. That's a happy coincidence. It is a new institute at the university, bringing together staff from all across the two campuses.
This morning there was an intriguing light, a kind of haze that just managed to hang around for much of the day. Probably part smog but I guess it also has a bit to do with the change of temperatures we are going through at the moment.
The hint of gold intrigued the most...

I have come to the conclusion that indeed taking and sharing photos is something that makes me quite happy. Now, how can I wrangle that into a paid, recognised research project? Something worth thinking about...and we can all be happy.
