Following the first open day in June at the other campus, today we had the third open day, the second this year here at the Ariake campus. A day that *should* have been set to marking (because the due date is this Thursday because the system is being changed over or upgraded or deleted or whatever it is they do to systems which must be obeyed rather than having a decent amount of time to do the more than decent amount of marking </end rant/>) but instead meant sitting in a room for five hours to answer questions from prospective students. *All part of the job of course*
So at the end of the sessions, it was back to the office for a late lunch (4.00pm) and back to the mountain.

There's a pattern developing to this week already...I can't yet see the light at the end, but I'm sure it is there. Previous experience recalls.
