This weekend is supposed to be the weekend for the neighbourhood festival. We've been looking forward to it, I certainly have, imagining photos and seeking and finding my new drumming classes (more on that later)...but the weather is not in our favour it seems.
Instead, here I am, updating the blog, reliving all the Helsinki moments and listening to Sibelius. And reviewing my Helsinki stash. For having been back now for five days, it is well time to be pining for those fjords again, or the pine forests, or Ainola, or the cinnamon buns and coffee.
The typhoon has slowed during the day, and if it hits Tokyo, it will now be well into the evening, or early morning (just about now, as I've been woken up by the wind and rain and figured I might as well get on with it...).

The uni has sent out a message that we are to check the website at 6.00am as to whether or not day one of semester will actually go ahead...
We just might manage to squeeze one more day out of the summer break.
