So with yesterday's clinic and the new semester starting on Monday and having been away, there is a little bit of work to be done, you might say. So it was in to the office for a few hours to start to organise this and that. Doesn't feel like a new semester is about to begin...where did that summer break go (oh, that's right, Brisbane, Gold Coast, SunCoast...Helsinki).
And with a cyclone bearing down on the archipelago, it is not exactly a pleasant time to be out and about.
After a little bit of sorting through enrolment lists, a new-fangled version of what was previously a perfectly acceptable class management system (and of course the 'new' one doesn't work as intuitively as the old one) and a look through materials for the next few weeks of teaching, I opted to take the longer walk back to the other station to see what was around...

A concert (in the rain), a new transformer to replace the old Gundam, and new shoes because with two sets of lectures this semester, there's going to be a fair bit of walking.
Home, perchance to dream of the end of semester...
