Heading back to the office, a little chill in the air. The one thing about eight week terms is that you're just getting used to the timetable and it is about to come to an end; we then gear up for another eight weeks and then, well, then it is the end of the academic year. Until next time.
All of which I was thinking this morning as we headed into the last two weeks. This time next term I'll be heading in for a new class, new students on Monday, whereas Monday has been my non-teaching day this term.
Ah, it is discombobulating at times.
So it is just as well the port operates on a longer timetable, it is almost getting predictable.

Well, perhaps not quite and I've got another five months or so to go before I've seen a full year out but there are at least identifiable signs of regularity, like the leaves the trees, the ripples on the water.
