A little outside my comfort zone this evening. No, wait. Well outside my comfort zone this evening. A trip to the casino on the Gold Coast to see a performance by an Elvis impersonator. To be fair to Mark Anthony, he did reiterate, several times, he was here as an Elvis fan who can sing his songs. There is a fine line of difference.
He was very very good.
We were there with my mum, a huge Elvis fan since forever and my brother who bought tickets for mum's birthday.Mum is such a big fan, she has not been keen on impersonators but this fellow was good.

So, we spent the night with Elvis, at a casino, on the Gold Coast: night, Gold Coast, casino...way way outside my comfort zone. As for Elvis, well, as a family we are pretty big fans, his records having been the soundtrack to my childhood.
It was, as they say, a good night out.
