I'm still relishing the no marking--all working time I have on my hands now. Today was very good for that. With no classes, just a day given over to writing, I completed one requested commentary and also sent off another abstract for a conference which will be on the Gold Coast next year, just when I am on my semester break.*
(*So yes of course I plan to go to a conference...)
Anyway, it was a quiet, industrious day in the office and one can say that, quite literally, that boat came in. Really, that four-master that has been sitting out under the bridge for the last few days took its turn portside some time overnight.

Shame I wasn't there to watch the boat come in but I might be lucky enough to watch it sail away. It is a good feeling, getting that work done and then working one sailing away.
Sail away, sail away, sail away. Reminds me of a song I heard once.
Back to prepare next week's classes tomorrow.
That's life.
