Day 350 2016: A fiery start...

Day 350: ...a fiery end

Metaphors both. There weren't any fires really but when I looked up briefly from my desk at one stage (seeking inspiration for the seminar class later in the day) I thought there was a bit more smoke than usual form one of the working ships...

...turns out it was just getting ups head of steam to head off on its way. It will be back tomorrow no doubt, to do it all again (bit like academic life really).

Being winter too, there seems to be a certain 'crispness' in the light as it is reflected around the place--the water, the windows, the buildings.

Head of steam

Bags on the rooftop

And away we go

Reflected light

Reflected surrounds

A different cloud

And then, after class, just before our next meeting, there was a bit of commotion in the corridor...

Mt Fuji, or not...

...if you squint hard enough, you can see Mt Fuji in the distance. At least, we think it was, it looked like it. It will do. I liked the sunlight. Fiery.
