Day 282: Birds of a feather...

Day 282: ...all flocked and frolicked in the backyard today.

It all started, dear reader, you understand, as just a couple of quick shots of the noisy miners in the birdbath. I thought I should give you a break from the dark side of the moon. I forgot to adjust the settings from last night (bad rookie error) so I had to reset and take some more.

Sub-tropical colour
By that time, the miners were joined by the crested pigeons and then the lorikeets got in on the act and then...the cresteds decided to exert some heavy feathering on the loris and then the butcher came to check out the goings on...and, and, and...

You first...

There's a photobomber here...
Carry on..
...before I knew it, I had 120 shots in the space of minutes. (I was experimenting with continuous shutter, because, you know dear reader, everyday with a camera should offer a new challenge... bwahahaha.)

Breaching like a ... whale
So, how did I choose? How many should I show? I still don't know. Here's a small sample...just enjoy.
