Day 236 2015: When some days start with a hiccup...

Day 236: ...best to look for the familiar

An odd sort of day. One appointment foiled by technology, another one postponed from last week and almost postponed for another hour when my usual tax agent really want to see me...that of course meant another one, and starting the conversations all over again...le sigh. Then excitement with a city run to pay my fees and get my tickets for my day with the Orchestra. That's the Queensland Symphony Orchestra...in October. Very excitement, as we say.

Then a catch up with a colleague from Tokyo who is visiting Brisbane briefly...and then, to the other side of town for an in-house rehearsal (not the usual venue) for a concert on Friday. In between I managed some work, reviewing a book mostly as well as some more class preparation. And the washing of course.

All that left little time to do much else, including the pics. Not even time in the city.

But there was a moment, around the time the sun was setting when again we had that interesting transition between day and evening...

A sign we're halfway through the month

Quite a step down from yesterday's visitor, but sometimes, even in a busy day, we have to try and look up and see the stars. Well, try.
