Day 181/365: If it's Saturday...

...it must be seminar day...

Ah, Saturday. The day to take a breather, a bit of a relax, clarinet rehearsal perhaps

Or, attend a seminar on women in politics, including presentations by current and past cabinet ministers. Well, dear reader, you just know what I'm going to do don't you.

The seminar was held at one of Japan's oldest and highly-regarded women's universities, Ochanomizu. Organisers of these sorts of events are getting tougher and more restrictive on photos being taken, all photography was banned within the building...which really just left me with the stroll around the campus option once it was all over.

I know that the proliferation of social media makes it tricky for famous people to control their images, but really, a seminar on women in politics banning photos? Oh well, that is the way it goes.
It was an interesting day nonetheless.
