Half way to the moon...

 ... and back... (100/365, 10 Apr 2022)

Well, I've made it to day 100 of this project. This was the main goal (lots of little goals along the way too--day 20, the first month, day 50 and so on) but 100 seems to be a milestone of sorts.

And it was also a birthday milestone of a dear friend (not a 'milestone' birthday as such...) and a few of us got together in these tentative post-covid, slightly less-restricted times, to celebrate. Nice to be able to do so.

It is interesting as we start to re-emerge from our various states of semi-lockdown restrictions, the art of socialising seems to be a lost art for me...it is taking a bit of a while to get back to that stage (OK, not one of my big points anyway to be honest).

But as we were leaving, we noticed the moon, as the sun set on a very pleasant day (spring is definitely here). By the time I got home, it was high in the sky but, as I've noticed previously, as much as we like to photograph the full moon, there is something I quite like about the half moon. I also prefer to reflect on birthdays that end in 5, rather than the usually celebrated '0'...being halfway between seems to give us a chance for reflection on where we've been and where we are going.
